About the Department

The Belmont Fire Department is a Combination department, that has served the communities we cover and other areas in Greenville County for 50 years. No matter if you desire to become a firefighter, or just have need and willingness to serve, we can find a place for you. From our Junior Firefighter Program, (Explorer Post 2082) to the most Senior member, there is a place for you within our Organization.

If you can answer YES to any of these questions and more then the Belmont Fire Department has a place for you. We’re a highly motivated, professional organization that can help line up the training you need, provide workers compensation insurance, and many other benefits to help you, help your community.

  • We provide the recruit with training at a Local, State and National level, weather the recruit is looking to make the Fire Service a Career, or just give of themselves as a volunteer, we will train and equip the recruit with the tools for a successful career in the fire service.
