About the Department

Harris Creek covers about 250 households in a 25 square mile area. We are a rural area with lots more pine trees than people, therefore most of our fires and brush fires. We have 2 engines, a tanker, and a brush truck. We have 18 all volunteer firefighters. Normally we have 10 to 20 calls per year. Most of my firefighters belong to at least one other fire department. We work with our closest department. Cash and Patrick to help provide good service to all of our communities.

Why Harris Creek Volunteer Fire Department?

Good people, good fun, public service.
